What Happens When You Do “sudo rm -rf /”?
Yeah, about that. Don’t try this at home or anywhere else for that matter. Unless ofcourse you are sucidal and want to delete everything you have in your linux box.
Or, you could just see what happens in this video:

I have found that sudo is not as powerful as sudo su, as some files you cannot edit with sudo vi, but can via sudo su then vi. Same goes with modifying block devices…
Anyway, I am just curious if a lot of those Operaition not permitted errors would go away with sudo su then rm -rf /
