Remote-exploit.org announced an update on the development of widely populor linux based penetration testing distro Backtrack 3 Beta.
Backtrack is the byproduct of a merger between two leading penetration testing distro Whax and Auditor Security Collection, after joining forces Backtrack gained huge popularity and in 2006 was voted the number 1 Security Live Distro by Insecure.org

Genlist is a program that returns a list of hosts that responding to ping probes. Thus, this list can be used to perform an scan of these machines using PBNJ or Nmap.
