Hey Dave, I agree the order is a little more than F’d-up, but if u read the second sentence in the article, it clearly states: “This list is no particular order.”

That said, not a bad list. Some shows in here I haven’t watched in a Loooong time. I do have to question against Office space as Having a Hacking theme though (hilarious as the show is) I feel the theme has more to focus on “stealing” than the actual “computer/Hacking” portion. *but now my buddies here are starting their own argument over my comment,… so I’ll let ya’ll ponder that too*

    Nice list once again!

Now we just need someone to rank them and write nice reviews discussing the plausibility of the way computers, the internet, and hacking were presented in each movie. The Takedown is by far one of the best (and most accurate) movies about hacking ever.

Since you used Italian Job, Office Space, and Transformers to open the door to movies that just feature hacking as a greater or lesser plot device here are a few more:

Weird Science (they hack into some government servers to get “more power”)

Jurassic Park (How could you forget a young girl looking at a GUI and saying “Oh! It’s a Unix system!” and then proceeding to hack her way around all the password protections without ever touching a command line)

    The Lawnmower Man 1,2,…

Johnny Mnemonic (featuring Keaunu’s they mythical VR Internet)

Bad Boys (They get a big convict to hack locked police files)

Pulse (Hack too much and you summon electricty traveling, soul sucking, ghosts!)

I’m sure there are more that will come to me later
