Hackers can Turn Your Home Computer into a Bomb!!!

I just bumped into this hilarious piece or article. Ofcourse this is not true, but it is fun to read. This also reminds me of the latest installation of the Die hard movie, Live Free or Die Hard (2007). Where bad guys used computer hackers to blow up other hacker with the press of a certain key, when a program is activated remotely, and the program itself activates a bomb attached to the computer. You can look at the screenshot from that movie in my “Top 20 Movies about Computer Hacking And Geeks” post here: http://www.linuxhaxor.net/2007/08/14/top-20-movies-about-computer-hacking-and-geeks/

This article is from http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/ magazine and kinda old (2000?), but funny nontheless.

Ah, the Weekly World News… I worked at a C store while in college and used to read that and the others when I opened on Saturday AM and it was slow. Always good for a laugh. Then again, they also have some great headlines to study for marketing purposes. Great for your swipe file.

It is impossible to make a computer into a bomb since a computer doesn’t contain the neccessary explosives that is needed. And if it was true, then computers would probely be illegal by now. And in Dia Hard i believe the bad guys attached a bomb to the computer, and when the user then discovered the program which were threw that attached bomb, they terminated the program which caused the bomb to explode.

Life is not easy to live but you should always be optimistic about things that’s the only way we can get some peace.

IT IS possible, all you have to do is change the voltage of PSU, which can be also done leagally for OC purposes. My old PC exploded because i OC’d it A BIT.
